It is important to know what kind of lotion can give you the kind of tan you are looking for. With many different products out there, it is hard to decide what is best for your skin.

• Accelerators- Great for beginning to tan, helps speed up natural tanning process and build a base tan quickly. Generally does not contain bronzers. Uses extra hydration and nutrients which help achieve a natural, deeper, long lasting tan.

• Intensifiers- For established tans, designed to deepen color and maximize hydration. Generally does not contain bronzers. Designed to accelerate your skins natural melanin production using Tyrosine.

• Tingle lotions use active ingredients to stimulate microcirculation, causing a warm or tingling sensation. The blood rushing to the skins surface accelerates melanin production. Designed for experienced tanners to break through plateaus.

Bronzers

These are lotions that contain bronzing agents for immediate color. Different types of bronzers include:

• DHA (dihydroxyacetone) for delayed, longer lasting color. Tan continues to build after tanning.

• Natural Bronzers use natural ingredients like caramel and walnut shells to provide immediate, temporary glow.

• Cosmetic bronzers deliver immediate, temporary color using ingredients like walnut shells, caramel or other natural ingredients.

• Black Bronzers are intense high-level tanning lotions used to provide immediate, deep, long-lasting dark color using a combination of DHA, natural and cosmetic colorants.
